Solution:
Deleting Session/Workflow log entries
In the Repository Manager client tool and do the following:
1. Connect to the repository.
2. Select either a specific folder (to remove log entries from one folder) or the repository (to remove log entries from the entire repository) in the navigator window.
3. Go to Edit > Truncate Log.
4. Select one of the following:
o "Delete all" to remove all entries in the folder or repository
o "Delete entries older (End Time) than" to remove entries prior to a specific date
Deleting old versions of folders (PowerCenter 6.x and earlier)
If any old versions of folders are no longer being used they can be deleted by doing the following:
1. Connect to the repository in Repository Manager tool.
2. Select the folder version to be deleted.
3. Select Edit > Delete.
4. Delete any session tasks based on mappings in this folder version in Workflow Manager as these sessions are now invalid.
NOTE:
Make sure that the mappings, sources, targets and transformations in this version of the folder are not at all needed as they will be deleted and irretrievable.
